The red sheep, sometimes referred to as the Armenian sheep or Iranian red sheep, is a close relative of the Transcaspian urial. Its defining coloration includes reddish-orange fur and a white saddle-like patch over its hind flanks. Like their urial cousins, the red sheep can have truly impressive horns that can grow to nearly 30 inches.
