In addition to possessing truly massive horns that can grow up to five feet long, the bezoar ibex also has unique horn ridges. Females grow shorter horns that generally reach no more than a foot in length. These goats are native to the Caucuses but were initially introduced into the New Mexico wilds in the 1970s. It thrives in a diverse array of habitats, with wild populations being found in mountains, seashore cliffs, deciduous forests and even deserts.
