Sables are majestic antelopes with sleek, short hair and distinctively long ringed horns. Their horns grow tall and arch back. Both sexes grow horns, with female horns being roughly two to three feet long and male horns reaching up to five-plus feet long. Sables are between 45 and 55 inches at the shoulder and both males and females have comparable weights, at roughly 520 lbs. and 490 lbs. respectively. Sables also boast a striking upright mane on their neck and a shorter throat mane.
