The “blue cow” – or nilgai antelope – is the largest antelope species in Asia. They generally stand between 3.5 to 5.0 ft. at the shoulder and are thickly built, with males averaging between 240 to 635 lbs. and females weighing between 220 and 470 lbs. Their horns are comparatively short given the antelope’s thickness, standing at only about 6 inches to 10 inches long.
